A strainer is a pressure-containing part. What matters is not that it was made carefully, but that it can be shown to have been.
Every strainer undergoes a mandatory hydrostatic test at 1.5 times design pressure, per ANSI B16.34 and ASME Section III, to guarantee zero boundary leakage. Our rig runs to 800 bar.
All welding procedures — WPS and PQR — and all welders are certified and qualified strictly under ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code Section IX.
Qualified ASNT Level II and III personnel execute multi-method examination: radiography by X-ray, Iridium-192 and Cobalt-60; ultrasonic testing; magnetic particle, including wet fluorescent; and liquid and fluorescent penetrant.
